I will sew shoes

What will you need?

  • Madeila soles or classic soles
  • Choose the patterns
  • Leather for the upper part (this is the visible part, for 1 pair you need 25-30 dm2)
  • Lining (it is used to prevent the leather from staining the foot for reinforcement)
  • Groove holes (if needed in the selected cut)
  • Thread
  • Small tools
  • Pad/board, hammer or rubber mallet, glue for gluing the leather and lining (Herkules or leather glue is enough, I use Vukolep), and about 8 hours of relaxing work

You can combine shoes in colors as you dare.

So don’t be afraid and sew your own original. You can also find inspiration here.

If you don’t want to sew the first piece yourself, sign up for a course.

Barefoot or standard style?

Barefoot is a type of sole that, with its width in the front part of the foot, gives your toes freedom.
The standard type is more for those who have really narrow feet.
